Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight has officially been announced for the Switch during the Nintendo E3 conference, and it’s also ready to play. This 2D platformer that has received such praise during 2017 is coming back with more content that is completely free with the Switch version.
“An epic action adventure through a vast ruined kingdom of insects and heroes. Explore twisting caverns, battle tainted creatures and befriend bizarre bugs, all in a classic, hand-drawn 2D style.”
While Hollow Knight will cost $15 on the Switch via digital download, it’ll come with many free content packs, including:
- Hidden Dreams
- The Grimm Troupe
- Lifeblood
Also added for free will be the final content pack called Gods & Glory, that’s expected later this year. Keep in mind, Hollow Knight is rated E 10+ for mild fantasy violence and blood; so it should be suitable for anyone who enjoys those 2D platformers.
We’ll keep you updated on any new Nintendo Switch news.
