2D Sci-Fi Game ‘Orphan’ Releases On Halloween

From game developer Windy Hill comes a new 2D Sci-Fi game called Orphan. Take on the role of the lone survivor of an alien invasion. The only problem is, you’re just a child.

Fight To Survive

Orphan is a Sci-Fi 2D scroller where you take on the role of a young boy setting out to take down an army of machines that have invaded the Earth. Much in the same style of games like  Limbo, you take to the shadows as you encounter dark and malevolent beings hunting for you.

However, you are not simply trying to survive the invasion. Instead, you have made it your personal mission to take revenge against the invaders using their own weapons. Set in the Appalachia, take control of the Earth back from the machines and find out who you are and why you were called forth to this task.

Orphan started out on Kickstarter in 2015 by the one-man studio Windy Hill. Orphan releases next week for PC on October 31st with future plans to release on consoles at a later time. You can find more information and add it to your wishlist on Steam. You can check out the trailer below as well as the system requirements.
