The Blackout Club – Horror Game By Ex-Bioshock Devs Hits Steam

Game studio Question (made up of members of Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite teams) has released its latest game, The Blackout Club.

Investigate, Fight, Survive

The Blackout Club is a co-op investigative survival-horror game that features four teens in search of answers as to what is causing weird things to happen in their hometown. People in the town are turning into sleepwalkers and the kid’s know something supernatural is going on. Only they can document everything to prove that something is afoot.

Using your phones, you and your friends must gather clues, fend off sleepwalkers, as well as avoid the all-seeing being that is stalking your every movement. You will also be able to utilize defensive weapons such as crossbows and stun guns, along with other various household items,  to aid you in your mission.

The Blackout Club seems to stray away from other online co-op horror games such as Dead Island or Dead by Daylight. It’s more of a fusion of those types of games as well as newer styles of modern survival-horror games such as Layers of Fear or Amnesia.  This unique play style, along with online co-op, is sure to keep you coming back for more.

The Blackout Club is now available through Steam Early Access. It is currently on sale for $17.99 but is regularly priced at $19.99.  As this game is labeled in early access that means that it is not complete and some bugs are sure to be present.  It is set to be completed sometime in 2019.
