Hello Games has announced that No Man’s Sky will be getting a major update this summer titled NEXT. As with the case with previous updates for the game, this will a be free to all players.The announcement was made via Twitter, along with a trailer for the update.
Coming in Summer 2018 is No Man's Sky NEXT, a free update for PS4, PC, Xbox and WeGame. It's our largest update so far, and we're working our socks off pic.twitter.com/wZhjaLMbsT

Along with the news of the update, the game will be ported to Xbox One with HDR and 4K support, ending its PlayStation exclusive status on consoles. No official release date has been given for either the update or the port.
