Everyone has loved Stardew Valley for the relaxing farming and ranching experience that Farmville could never give us. Finally, we have some updated word on the multiplayer, and ConcernedApe has announced it may be closer than we had originally anticipated.
According to a recent tweet by ConcernedApe, “if all goes well it should be ready in about a month”.
Update on Stardew Valley multiplayer: still making good progress on fixing bugs, if all goes well it should be ready in about a month
— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) April 10, 2018
This comes as big news since players have been hoping for multiplayer. Unfortunately this is only for the PC, Mac, and Linux users and not for the console gamers on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
Chucklefish was said to in February be putting this mode through a ton of QA, and ensuring that all the features work as they should.
We’ll keep you informed on any news that develops for Stardew Valley, especially when the multiplayer hits!
