The recent hit Shounen anime and manga series My Hero Academia is getting its own fighting game titled My Hero One’s Justice. Check out all the details here and the announcement trailer for this upcoming game! For those unfamiliar with the series, it takes place in a world where the vast majority of people have superpowers called “Quirks” and being a superhero has become a professional line of career. The story follows Izuku Midoryia, a young man who is given a once in a lifetime chance to follow in the footsteps of his idol and become the world’s greatest hero.
As for the game itself, Bandai Namco is behind its development. From the footage released, it will focus on the fast paced action and movement the series is known for. Unlike the company’s most recent fight game Dragonball FighterZ, One’s Justice will be using a 3D fighting system rather than a 2D style.
A new trailer for the game was just released and can be found below.
In other My Hero Academia news, the third season of the anime has just premiered and is available on both Crunchy Roll and Funimation. Those interested in story-driven and action animes should definitely check this one out. Speaking as a fan of the series, I am excited to see how the developers will bring the characters of the series into the gaming world.
My Hero One’s Justice is set to release later this year for PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
