Nintendo Promises 3DS Support for the Foreseeable Future

Nintendo has been under scrutiny since the release of the Nintendo Switch because this mobile console could easily take the place of the 3DS/2DS. Nintendo has reassured everyone that they plan to continually release titles through 2019 and beyond for the 3DS and 2DS. See their affirmation here!

The company has just released their financial briefing online, and reassured many that the titles they already have planned for the 3DS including Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Dead Heat Breakers, Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for Nintendo 3DS, WarioWare Gold for 3DS and Luigi’s Mansion will be released, along with other games going through 2019 and beyond.

“In addition to the titles currently on sale we have announced the coming release of the titles shown here, we are even preparing new software for release in 2019 and beyond.”
