FOX Cancels Both Lucifer and The Exorcist

FOX Cancels Both Lucifer and The Exorcist

FOX has just announced that they have cancelled two amazing shows that we loved to cover called The Exorcist and Lucifer.

It’s the time of year when networks are making the big decisions, and FOX has unfortunately decided to cancel both The Exorcist and Lucifer from their roster. The Exorcist was cancelled after two seasons, while Lucifer received three.

For those of you unfamiliar with The Exorcist, the synopsis is:

“Follows three priests dealing with cases of a demonic presence targeting a family and a foster home.”

As for Lucifer, the synopsis is:

“Lucifer Morningstar has decided he’s had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. He settles in Los Angeles – the City of Angels.”

Even actors in the series have confirmed the cancellation via Twitter.

We’ve very sad to hear this news, but will keep you updated as details form for both The Exorcist and Lucifer. Who knows, maybe Hulu will get them?
