Disney’s 2014 release of Big Hero 6 has grossed over $650 million world wide and it’s not over yet! Baymax, Hiro and the rest of their friends will be returning to Disney Channel!
After the success of the 2017 TV move Big Hero 6: Baymax Returns Disney has approved the new Big Hero 6 TV series that premieres this Saturday, June 9th. The premiere even will span two days, Saturday and Sunday, June 9-10, on Disney Channel, the DisneyNOW TV Everywhere application and Disney Channel VOD platforms.
The event will features two 22-minute long episodes each day from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. EDT/PDT; after which, new episodes are scheduled to air each Saturday throughout the month of September.
The series will focus on Hiro, now the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, along with his cuddly sidekick Baymax, and their friends Go Go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred; as they all protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains.
With a combination of action, comedy and heart, and the co-craters of Kim Possible Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle, Big Hero 6: The Series is sure to be a hit!
