Pokémon Let’s Go new features displayed earlier this week at the Nintendo E3 conference, giving more details on the new Nintendo Switch game.

Enthusiastic players of this beloved franchise will be excited to find out that a new Pokeball is one of the games most exciting new features, and add-ons. The Pokeball Plus gives players the opportunity to not only capture some of their favorite Pokémon like Squirtle and Charmander, but also the ability to capture one of the most famous and elusive Pokémon, Mew.

Capturing Mew in the Pokeball means that players can carry one of the most mysterious creatures around with while engaged in gameplay.

Players who are nostalgic for the Pokémon games of yesteryear will be excited to know that this game features the Pokémon from Red, while Eevee and Pikachu are the ones we know and love from Yellow.

The Viridian Forest is full of things like Oddish, Pidgeys and other fairly common monsters, which should be easy to find, and finding them will give you a leg-up when looking for more rare Pokémon like Mew.

Pokémon Let’s Go was inspired by the classic Pokemon Yellow and Red, which depending on the version of the game you pick you will either be guided through your journey by Pikachu or Eevee. But, the Pikachu or Eevee that you start out with is unfortunately unable to evolve.

If you wish to evolve a Pikachu or an Eevee, you have to transfer the from Pokémon Go, which will be available in this upcoming game.

The new features of the Pokeball Plus in the ability to carry rare Pokémon like Mew, will mean that this is the most exciting mainline Pokémon game yet, especially since it will be out on the Nintendo Switch.

Get your copy of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee when it releases on November 16th 2018.
