Watch: SoulCalibur VI Story Trailer & Game Editions

Bandai Namco has officially announced SoulCalibur VI during E3 2018, and we finally see story details on the upcoming fighting game!

About SoulCalibur VI

“Taking place in the 16th century, SoulCalibur VI sets players on a voyage of discovery as they uncover events from the original SoulCalibur to learn hidden truths.”

Characters will be embarking on a quest to find two legendary swords, and as the story trailer shows above, we can see some familiar faces returning, along with some new ones:

  • Geralt of Rivia
  • Groh
  • Ivy
  • Kilik
  • Mitsurugi
  • Nightmare
  • Siegfried
  • Sophitia
  • Taki
  • Xianghua
  • Zasalamel

Game Editions Announced

SoulCaliburVI will be getting at least two special game editions, called Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition pre-ordered by October 19th 2018 includes:

  • Base game on PS4 or Xbox One
  • Seasons Pass with 5 packs:
    • 3 playable characters
    • 2 armor packs
  • Soundtrack on Disc
  • Metal Case with Build-in Sound Box (featuring four epic in-game voiceover snippets)

Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition pre-ordered by October 19th 2018 includes:

  • Base game on PS4 or Xbox One
  • Collector’s Edition Box
  • 12” Collectible Sophita Figure
  • Soundtrack on Disc
  • Metal Case with Build-in Sound Box (featuring four epic in-game voiceover snippets)
  • 120 Page Art Book

SoulCalibur VI will be releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, October 19th 2018.
