Battletoads Teaser Trailer
20 years after the last Battletoads game, the creators of Donkey Kong Country and Golden Eye are bringing it back! Rage created the original Battletoads and the company has made a return to release another game in the franchise. Originally released in 1991 for the NES, the game eventually made its way to hand-held gaming consoles like Game Boy and had three sequels. The games inspired a large fan base that continues today which inspired the creators to make another game.
Xbox unveiled a teaser trailer at E3 (2018). Game play footage, however, was not revealed during E3 and the game doesn’t have an official title yet. The game will have three-player couch co-op and the graphics will be entirely hand-drawn 2.5D. The hand-drawn art and 2.5 dimension graphics will be reminiscent of the original game, while also bringing the game forward to higher graphics.
The game will release sometime in 2019 for Xbox One and PC.
