Although fans are excited about Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, there’s news that the game will require an online subscription to fully be playable.
This anticipated monthly online subscription for the Nintendo Switch is going to become a key factor in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. Fans of the massive franchise have not had to pay for the very basic features of the game before, including online play. Anyone who’s played Pokemon knows in order to be successful at the game, you must have a wide array of monsters to fight with.
Trading Pokemon in this game requires a $20 monthly fee in the US, but does not allow for global trading. There’s only going to be a hundred and fifty monsters to collect in this game.
While this may put you off to Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, a Pokemon spokesperson insists that there are some free aspects of gameplay, including free Pokémon battling.
The Nintenod Switch online subscription is said to start in September 2018, and we’ll keep you informed when it happens.
