Disney is bringing everyone’s favorite crime fighting teenager to the live action movie screen! A Kim Possible live action film is coming soon!
At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Disney released the first look of Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible. Released during the panel for Big Hero 6: The Series, the image came as a surprise. The costume for Kim might seem a little different than many of us remember, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the movie will veer from the teenagers abilities to thwart Dr. Drakken and Shego’s plans.
The animated series started in 2002 and ran several seasons, totaling 87 episode. A nomination for an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Series happened for Kim and the crew in 2003. The creators of the Kim Possible show, Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley, wrote the script for the upcoming live action film. The directors and producers are Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky. Utilizing the creative genius of the animated series creators should bring the true personalities of Ron, Kim and Wade to the screen.
Sean Giambrone (Ron Stoppable), Isaac Ryan Brown (Wade), Todd Stashwick and Taylor Ortega (Dr. Drakken and Shego), and Alyson Hannigan (Kim’s mother) will be joining alongside Sadie Stanley to bring the show to life. The movie is scheduled to be released sometime in 2019.
