Jessica Lange is coming back for season 8 of American Horror Story. Sarah Paulson announced the development during a press conference tour.
Lange was an AHS staple in seasons 1 through 4. She portrayed a variety of roles from the nosy next door neighbor, to the madame of a freak show. She dropped out after season for and AHS: Hotel, Roanoke, and Cult continued on without her. Now, she is making her returned in AHS: Apocalypse which is season 8 of the show.
It may be that Jessica Lange is returning because season 8 will be a combination of season 1’s Murder House and Season 3’s Coven. Lange played important roles in both and may be returning to reprise one or both of those roles! It is currently unknown whether she will return for any further seasons.
American Horror Story has also been renewed for season 10, which was announced ahead of the season 8 premier. Get ready to be spooked and freaked with season 8, premiering September 8th, 2018 on FX!
