FX Releases New Promos for “AHS: Apocalypse”

Are you an avid American Horror Story (AHS) fan?  Me, I’ve been in love with long-running anthology since the get-go.  You can imagine just how ecstatic I was over FX’s newly-released promo videos for the latest installment: Apocalypse.

So far in its previous seven seasons, AHS covered almost every major horror theme, from haunted houses to circus freaks to the legend of the lost Roanoke colony.  This time ’round, though, the focus will be on the “Birth of the Anti-christ” and “End of the World” tropes.

The upcoming 8th cycle will feature a crossover-style storyline—a combination of the “Murder House” and “Coven” cycles.   In addition, producer Ryan Murphy has let a few other tidbits slip, such as the promise to leave a trail of Easter Egg-style breadcrumbs throughout that links all of the cycles together.  After all, he did say in 2017 that each season represents one of Dante Alighieri’s nine circle of hell.

Fans of the show will also recognize plenty of familiar faces, as a host of prior cast members (and characters) will be returning, including Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, and Stevie Nicks.  It’s still uncertain whether Lady Gaga will be back.

It’s certainly shaping up to be one hell of a time, beaming straight to your television on September 12, 2018.

Don’t forget to check out the promos below!
