Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen to star in MCU TV Spin-offs with Disney

A Disney-Marvel-TV-spin-off? Upon reading these words, I had several feelings to work through. Let me save you a panic attack and a few Xanax and assure you that this news won’t disappoint like a certain MCU movie did (yeah, I went there).

“Disney is developing MCU spin-off TV shows –

Hold up. Disney’s trying to make a TV spin off with Marvel characters?

– for Loki, Scarlet Witch, and more –

-for its streaming service.”

Am I really reading this? What the hell dickens (sorry, Steve) are they thinking?! I’m not even going to keep reading. It’s pointless. And probably painful.

*I keep reading*

“Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are lined up for – “

So, let’s get this straight. Disney AND Marvel are collaborating to bring us several MCU TV spin-offs? And they’ll include characters that don’t already have their own standalone movies?? Working with a budget that made all the MCU movies what they are, along with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olson) themselves, can this be what it takes for us to forgive Marvel for the shit (sorry again, Steve) bull-honkey they pulled on us back in April?

Um, no

OK, maybe

This is one of a bazillion questions from Marvel fans near and far. No details have been released on the timeline of these spin-offs, and considering the betrayal that was “Infinity War”, this could play a significant role in plot lines, as well as which characters will get the additional spin-offs that are also in the works. The episodes will be available through Disney’s streaming service, which is currently being referred to as “Disneyflix” until there is an official name given. No one really cares about the name, though, considering Disney already owns the rights to Marvel, Pixar, and Lucasfilms.

Even with this limited information, I think we can all let Loki speak for the group
