In the early 2000’s, Marvel was merely a comic juggernaut. in 2008, they became one of the biggest movie studios in the world. One thing that has remained constant is Marvel’s constant presence in the world of video games. Be it with their widely popular Marvel Vs Capcom series, any number of Spider-Man games, or their more recent foray into mobile gaming with Contest of ChampionsStrike Force, and Future Force. Now, the comic book legends are taking a dip into the world of card games — that is, a Mobile card game similar to Yugioh: Duel Links. Welcome to MARVEL BATTLE LINES.

Featuring hundreds of iconic Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains, MARVEL Battle Lines gives players the ability to collect and build the ultimate deck of Marvel characters including fan-favorites from Iron Man and Black Panther to Squirrel Girl. The game also features variety of modes, including a single player campaign with an original story crafted by Marvel writer Alex Irvine.

Marvel Battle Lines

EMERYVILLE, CA – October 3 – Nexon and Marvel have announced that MARVEL Battle Lines, the strategic card battle game featuring hundreds of iconic Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains, will launch to mobile devices worldwide on October 24. New York Comic Con attendees can be among the first fans to experience MARVEL Battle Lines during the convention from October 4 – October 7 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

Fans can visit Nexon’s MARVEL Battle Line’s booth (#1736) at New York Comic Con to play the strategic card battle game. Collectible MARVEL Battle Lines New York Comic Con pins will be available* exclusively for fans who complete the demo of the game at the event. Players can come back each day during the convention to hone their skills and to collect a new exclusive pin.
