Just in time for Halloween, the complete Exorcist: Legion VR series is available to play on PlayStation VR.
Horror Up Close
Publisher Fun Train announced today that the Exorcist: Legion VR finale is available now on the PlayStation VR. This includes the final two chapters titled “Samaritan” and “The Tomb.” It is written by William Peter Blatty, the original creator of the Exorcist and the Exorcist III films.
You take on the role of a Boston homicide detective who is trying to find the culprit behind a series of ritualistic murders. Using both investigative and exorcism techniques it is up to you to put a stop to the growing horrors you come across in your journey. Douglas Nabors, CEO of Fun Train, stated:
Fans have been anxiously anticipating the release of these final two episodes and we can’t wait for them to experience the culmination of the chilling story created by Wolf & Wood. Our hope too is that VR horror fans will start from the beginning and experience the entire adventure as one cohesive narrative, discovering nuances and interesting details they may have missed or forgotten. Trust me, it’s even scarier the second time around.
The synopsis for both chapters is included below with spoiler tags for those who don’t want to have anything ruined for them.
The Exorcist: Legion VR has been rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB. You can purchase the complete series from the PlayStation Store. Each individual chapter is priced at $6.99 or you can purchase the Season Pass for $24.99. Check out the trailers for chapter 4 and 5 below!
