Dream Daddy, the dad-dating visual novel made by the Game Grumps, is receiving a big new update. Titled ‘Dadrector’s Cut,’ this new update will bring the game to the PlayStation 4 and add a variety of new features.
Dad dating on console.
Dream Daddy is a visual novel released July last year by the Game Grumps, also known as Arin Hanson and Leigh Daniel Avidan. The Steam page describes it like this:
Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is a game where you play as a Dad and your goal is to meet and romance other hot Dads. You and your daughter have just moved into the sleepy seaside town of Maple Bay only to discover that everyone in your neighborhood is a single, dateable Dad! Will you go out with Teacher Dad? Goth Dad? Bad Dad? Or any of the other cool Dads in this game? With minigames, sidequests, and a variety of paths and endings, Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is this year’s most anticipated Dad-based game.
Earlier today, the Dream Daddy Twitter posted this announcement:

The first and most exciting part of this update is that it brings the game to the PlayStation 4. Now console players will get the opportunity to date single fathers! Some of the other notable details include some new side quests, the addition of cut content from the PC release, a new mini-game, and the ability to replay mini-games. Other than this, we don’t have any other details on the port/update.
The update releases October 30. The PC version gets the update for free, while PS4 players can get the game for $15, assuming no difference in pricing between the two platforms.
