After the shutdown of Telltale Games, it seemed like The Walking Dead: The Final Chapter would never be completed. However, Skybound Games, who is working on the games now, has announced that Episode 3, ‘Broken Toys,’ will release January 15.
It has risen.
The announcement of The Walking Dead: The Final Chapter‘s next episode came last Saturday during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase. The announcement came along with a new trailer, which you can see above. It acts as a kind of recap of Clementine’s journey, including showing off the people she’s known and lost throughout the games, as well as a glimpse as what to expect in Episode 3.
In a blog update on the Skybound website, Johnny O’Dell gave thanks to the team and talked about getting the older episodes back up after they were pulled:
We’re extremely thankful to the team working on this game to make sure the season is finished with the quality the game and the fans deserve. We are #stillnotbitten.
You may have noticed that all past seasons and episodes of TELLTALE’S THE WALKING DEAD are back up on *almost* all platforms. If you purchased any of the games on PC, we are still getting that sorted and will have an update for you ahead of Broken Toys’ launch. If you already purchased the entire season of TELLTALE’S THE WALKING DEAD: THE FINAL SEASON, you will still have access to episodes three and four on whichever platform you already used to purchase them.
The Walking Dead: The Final Chaper Episode 3, ‘Broken Toys,’ will release on all platforms on January 15.
