We all knew this was happening. With the acquisition of the Blue Brand, SmackDown, by FOX, changes were coming to WWE. This time, changes came rather fast, as the WWE Draft 2019 started tonight. Join me in checking who ended on which brand.
This time, the Draft is not as “friendly” as we’re used for it to be. We have two different networks paying to get their favorite superstars in their shows. Monday Night RAW, broadcasting on the USA Network, and Friday Night SmackDown, broadcasting on FOX. They even told us with the way everyone behaved that they are competing against each other, even though the WWE is a single company.
Of course, we had some matches going on tonight, but the important piece (besides the Main Event of the evening) was about where each superstar ended. Let’s go through them.
RAW
SmackDown
This is just the first part of the draft. We need to watch all 3 hours of Monday Night RAW next week to get to know the next picks. Totally worth mentioning that those who do not get drafted will become “free agents” and they’ll be able to negotiate with either of both brands.
What do you think about the results of the draft tonight?
