Super Smash Bros. Smash Ultimate has just added Banjo and Kazooie to the lineup, bringing some classic N64 vibes. After playing with the character for a bit, I can tell they’re full of nostalgia and new gameplay. Not only this, but the map Spiral Mountain has been added, alongside the track Mumbo’s Mountain.
Craig Duncan, the studio head of Rare, expressed interest in other studios working with their intellectual properties (IPs) in a recent IGN interview. This means that franchises like Banjo and Kazooie, Killer Instinct, and Conker could be the target of future collaborations.
We all know that the Nintendo Switch will be getting a new Super Smash Bros. video game later this year, but the hype is real now that Xbox is willing to let the famous Banjo & Kazooie from the original Nintendo games into the mix.
