Blizzard just released a new cinematic, Old Soldier, featuring Saurfang after the burning of the World Tree in Teldrassil. While the atrocity performed on the tree was horrific and devastating to both factions, Saurfang took these events the hardest.

Anyone who plays World of Warcraft knows with each expansion comes great changes. Some expansions have almost rewritten the entire Azeroth landscape. As promised, Blizzard delivered the second animated short in the Warbringers series with Sylvanas’ story. Leading up to the launch of their latest expansion for World of Warcraft, Blizzard has made 3 animated shorts to build some backstory for those that may be unfamiliar (or those gaming veterans) with these powerful females.
Just as new pre-expansion pack content is released today for Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard also released the first of three animated shorts. Just as they did for the Mists of Pandaria expansion, Blizzard will release 3 animated shorts under the theme Warbringers. Each of these tales features Jaina Proudmore, Sylvanas Windrunner, and Queen Azshara.

As many players expected, Blizzard Entertainment released their pre-expansion patch for Battle for Azeroth today. Unfortunately, the patch’s launch has been a pretty bumpy one with authentication issues and full queues most of the day. I’m sure Blizz programmers are working diligently to fix the problems.
