Set after the events of Tom Clancy's The Division, The Division 2 takes players to Washington D.C. as the state has descended into lawlessness after the Green Poison was engineered and released in New York by an environmental terrorist, becoming a pandemic disease across the United States.
The White House is run by the Joint Task Force alongside The Division as the government does everything possible to regain control and reestablish order. Your duty as a Division agent is to help accomplish this by defeating and making the remaining members of the Hyenas, the Outcasts; and the True Sons leave or surrender.
